ETSY
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The design was for a new office building for the Etsy company opening in a new location in Austin, Texas. The task was to use the context of the client, ,employees, and geographical location to design a space with an open floor plan to enhance collaborativity.
CONCEPT BRANDING
The concept behind the design is to create a productive yet comfortable environment. The creation of larger windows and a different ceiling will help with natural light and acoustics. This will help create a more creative and collaborative environment. With larger windows and a unique exterior area the design creates an incorporation of indoor work experiences with fun exterior activities.

RENDERED FURNITURE PLAN
Since the restaurant is for public use, ADA accessibility and compliance with building codes and regulations is required. All public spaces are ADA accessible, including restrooms and no structural changes were to be made to the building.
The use of various tables and seating throughout the space helps create a space full of movement. The different areas encourage personal work, collaborative work and times for relaxation.
"The California based artist makes abstract paintings that are informed by the sensory interpretations bridging the thoughts between what is known and how it is felt. Day creates pieces that represent both profound and mundane situations."
The fact that these artists work on opposite coasts and produce similar artwork is what makes them unique. With similar design philosophies, these artists work well together in the same space. Their philosophies of using color and bridging the ideas of what is real and what is felt is the same strategy used throughout my design.
"The Atlanta native is an abstract artist known for her playful paintings full of movement. She is constantly refining her eye for aesthetics and design, and hopes to bring this sense of exploration and curiosity to her current work."
